Week 4

This was another enjoyable week overall. Chicks: coming along as expected - eggs sitting there in the right humidity and temperature soaking up the vibes of the classroom - I'm sure they will come out very alternatively. Students monitoring their progress with pictures of what is happening inside. Tuesday: Morning: junior grades working on their self-ology books. A project that involves them creating pictures and writing about themselves. Afternoon: All school phys ed. We walk to Scadding Court where they played several variations of dodgeball after democratically deciding which games to play. Wednesday: Morn: taught math place values to several students grades 1-2. Afternoon all school walk to park at scadding court - some free play outside and then a few chose to go inside to play a game in the gym. Thursday: Morning: assisted junior grades with writing a how to steps for their favourite activity. Afternoon: observed older kids media lesson and discussion. Friday: played Math War with a handful of rowdy boys all morning. Afternoon sat in on French lessons with some grade 4 and 5. The kids are planning the 40th anniversary festivities and beginning to prepare for the party in September. Tuesday to Friday 8:45-3:30/4ish
